CASTRO AND THOSE WHO SPOKE WELL OF HIM.
I guess no single newline could have shown the profound
difference between the administration that is currently representing the US and
the one that is soon to be coming to power than the death of Castro. By the way, did you notice I stated “represents”
and not “ Runs” when mentioning the office of the Presidency of the United
States? For the record, I count against the ranks of those who firmly believe
the President of the US works for the people and as such, he or she represents.
“Running / in power / is in charge/ all are statements of Command. Yes the
President is the Commander in Chief when the time is needed for him or her to
be so, but day to day, day in and day out, that person works for the citizens
of the US. Sometimes they need to be reminded and by the way, that is what
happened on Nov 8th of 2016. Okay, back to my issue of Castro.
When I first heard some of the statements being made by
people around the world about Castro’s death, I patiently waited to see who
would strike first in the US. The current President or the President Elect? Now,
I anticipated what the difference was
going to be in the description of Castro as seen from the minds of President
Obama and President Trump, but I will admit, President Obama’s “Official” statement
about letting history see where Castro
memory is held was almost shocking! As for President Elect Trump, well, he is
and will be a “shoot from the hip” kind of guy and we will have to see what
that holds for US. But, it’s the current President’s stance that made me sit
down and contemplate just how far left he truly is. Only the loyal, liberal
Socialist of the world could possibly portray Castro as a figure that might
have his place in history altered to overlook the crimes against humanity he
was guilty of. If someone is under the age of 60 and gained their knowledge of
Castro from Universities and the daydreaming fools that teach there, then it’s
very posable Castro’s image might be twisted to the point of the “Greater Cause”,
the “Collective” and how he was one of their Champions. As an example, just
look at the people who wear clothing with pictures of Che Guevara on the front
of their shirts or his famous hat. It’s “Cool”! I’m convinced that President
Obama is one of those followers who at a very young age, dreamed of meeting Castro
or even seeing his cause championed throughout the world. How could he possibly
say anything disrespectful of Castro, but not anger those in the nation still
old enough or knowledgeable enough to know the real Castro? Oh ya…. What about the
Democrats worrying over the Latino vote? Yep, most Democrats are still ignorant
enough to think Latinos give a damn about leftwing killers like Castro. It’s
that whole Che Tshirt concept at the political party level.
It’s always amazed me that a group of people who get a daily
intelligence dump / analysis / of just about anything going on in the world
that might impact the nation often have no clue as to the history of the nation
or the events in the world that shaped the US. I say US because sadly, many of
the other world leaders are very knowledgeable of their countries history as
distorted as it sometimes may be.
Mr. Castro. I don’t refer to him with his first name
attached because to me, that is giving him some level of accreditation and the
good Lord knows I would never do that. So, who was Mr. Castro?
Let me give you a picture of Castro. Let me tell you a story
that may help you decide where he belongs in the history of the Human Race. No,
I’m not going to talk about the Guerilla movements in Central or South America
and his support for them. No, I’m not going to address his actions in Africa
and the Puppet Strings the Soviet Union had on him as they worked to counter
the West. You see, most of those arguments end with the same old worn-out rebuttal.
“Well…the US and the West has done horrible things as well”! Governance. Perhaps its definition in Webster
should include, “the ability to justify cruel and destructive acts all in the
name of people”? But, I’m not here to defend the acts of any government. I am
making a point about Mr. Castro.
The Cuban Missile Crisis!
Was it Castro’s idea to place nuclear weapons on Cuban soil?
No.
Castro was a loyal Puppet and was more than happy to show
his Masters in Moscow his desire to do their bidding. But, Castro was more than
that. Castro was a very angry and very disturbed College Campus bread radical!
Castro was mentally unstable and for those of you who are Castro fans, sorry,
but it’s true. If you wish to insert the typical, “but the US and the
Capitalist…..” feel free to do so, but I am going to drive on towards my point.
Castro was a puppet
of Moscow. It’s also true Castro dreamed of being the supreme leader of all the
Latin America countries. If the Russians were successful in bringing communist
rule to the Western world, then Castro would rightfully be chosen to rule over
the Americas…. That new part of that new world order. War with the Capitalist
West would lead to Castro being the leader of Latin America or even the
Americas all together. Well, that is what he believed…that is what he dreamed
of. His support to the Soviets and the KGB in Africa. His support to the IRA
and to the Palestinians, none of that was to simply help those who thought like
him. He was buying love. He was buying support from the one nation that had a philosophy
he was indoctrinated in and could truly change the course of history in Latin America.
The one nation that could make him the most powerful man in the Americas. So,
helping to kill innocent bystanders, teaching radical members how to bomb the innocent
to the point they would hopefully force their political leaders to come to
terms with the Revolutionaries, that was acceptable to a power-hungry dreamer
like Castro. Yes. To Mr. Castro, it was all about his place in history.
When the time came
and Castro’s Masters in Moscow decided the nuclear weapons in Turkey, on the
Russian border, where no longer tolerable, Castro was told of a plan. A plan to
place the same type weapons on his beloved Cuba; the Cuba he told by force. Eager
to finally see the “Revolution” get underway, eager to see the arrogant
Capitalist brought to their knees, Castro was more than willing to take this
leap into warfare. It’s accurate to say that Castro was even euphoric over the
idea of having nuclear weapons on Cuban land. In his mind the time for war had come and the
outcome was going to be the Communist utopia he had dreamed of. But, like with
all dreams, he had to wake up at some point. He had to realize the deals to
avoid a nuclear war were going to be struck without his input. After all, he
was just a C Team puppet and his Masters in Moscow would strike the deals and
never even allow him to read the notes.
Castro was a violent man and a very angry man and bad news
never sat well with him. When it became clear to him the Soviets were not going
to launch a nuclear war with the US and start his rise to power, his
frustration was clear. The stories, validated stories by the Russians themselves
of Castro’s anger are not only true, they are documented. His anger grew to the
point that he demanded, yes, demanded the tactical nukes on his land be turned
over to him. Castro wanted to control the ability to release those tactical weapons.
The idea of Moscow agreeing to such a demand was and is still laughable. In the
end, the weapon went home, the First Strike capabilities of the Soviet Union
was removed from Cuba and shortly afterwards, quietly, the same took place in
Tukey….well….maybe! Side note. With the perfection of
nuclear laden subs, the idea of needing land base, up close tactical nukes was questionable
to begin with. It was all more of a political game, a very…very…dangerous game.
A game still played today.
So, who was Mr. Castro? Here is my answer. Castro was an
angry, mentally unstable power hungry dreamer prone to violence. Castro was the
man who demanded he be allowed to attack the US with nuclear weapons and start
the war that would lead to his rise to power.
Castro never got his way and he resented the Russians for it for the
rest of his life. But, sadly, he had sold his county so far down the Soviet
River, the West / US / would never trust Cuba again.
The man that dreamed of nuclear war, the deaths of millions
or even billions of people and the destruction of the US and all the Capitalist
West stands for died last week.
How should history “judge” him? The current President says, “Let history judge”.
The President Elect says, “Good riddance”!
I tend to agree with the incoming President and the nuclear
war we avoided.
One last note.
I hear his ashes are
in a secret place. How apropos he ended as ashes, for if he had gotten his way
that is exactly where he would have ended up.
