TURKEY AND THE SHIA MILITIAS. THE DANGER MANY HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT.

Well, once again, the news of the day was based on the topic of emails and political leaders who make rules but don’t live by them. As important as the issue of Hillary’s emails may be, the danger of increased violence in the Middle Eastern Region continues to increase. Since the beginning of the operation to retake Mosul, the fear of further inflaming the sectarian conflict between the Sunni and Shia has been on radar. Could anyone convince the Iranian Puppet Masters of these Shia Militias to limit their involvement? Did Iran even intend on limiting their involvement? Who warned Iran not to let the Shai groups get too involved? The Russians? The US? The Turks?
It now appears, just as some had predicted, the Shia Militias are going to take a leading part in the battle for Mosul? Even if Iraq and Iran attempt to hide this event, the truth will get out. Iraq can claim their Anti-Terrorism Forces are leading the fight and Iran can deny the Shia Militias level of support, but there will be no hiding the truth and the truth is, the Iranian controlled Militias are going to be deeply involved in any successful fight for Mosul.
What will the Sunni nations stand for? The Shia Militias have had their way in Iraq in the past and the long-term repercussions have flamed the hatred of the two groups to new levels.
Is anyone able to provide any level of checks and balances to this pending disaster?
What will the repercussions be if Shia Militias once again rain revenge on the Sunni citizens of Mosul?
Who will be there to stop it from taking place? Iraq’s government? I highly doubt it. Words. We will hear “words” from the Iraqi leadership, but then again, that is all we have heard from them for the past thirteen years….”words”!
Will the Tsar prevent yet another round of sectarian violence? Ask yourself the most simplistic question. What’s in it for the Tsar? If it makes the West look weak and if it makes the US look even more lost then they already are, then why would he.
Prevention? Is anyone or any nation actually in a position to prevent this Shia Militia event? Yes.
The Turks! The NATO member, Turkey and their Tyrannical leader!
Are the Turks talking to the Russians about the dangers of the Shia Mulitas and Mosul? Yes, and they have been for months. They have been talking not just about Mosul, but the Shia Militias actions in general. By the way, these Militias have been conducting “retaliation / revenge / events for years in Iraq.
Who do the Turks hold responsible for these Shia Militia groups? The Iraqis? Yes.
Why the Iraqis and not the real controlling nation, Iran? Because it’s easier to say Iraq is responsible for letting the groups on Iraqi soil than it is to say Iran controls Iraq. By the way, as a reminder, Iran does control Iraq!
As the email stories coming out of the US continued to mystify the Western world, it was easy to overlook a very serious statement by the Turkish leadership. A buildup of forces on the Iraqi border. This announcement was in conjunction with a continuing threat from Turkey over the issue of the Shia Militias.
The Sultan of the what he hopes is the new, Ottoman Empire, is trying hard to portray himself and Turkey as the defenders of the Sunni faithful in Syria and to some degree Iraq. Most of us realize his real goal is to prevent the Kurds from carving out a state along the Turkish border, but a the idea of a hostile occupation force being sent into Syria and or Iraq is much more supportable in the Sunni world if that bases for that force is saving the Sunni civilians from the crazed Shia Militias.
Can the Turks really afford to come to blows with these Iraqi supported, Iranian controlled Shia Militias?
Well, that depends on what the Sultan and the Tsar have come to terms with?
Notice I didn’t mention the Western / US / influence in this decision?
Does a large part of the world understand the US is preoccupied with one of the embarrassing Presidential Election in decades? Oh yes, and that my friends is even more dangerous then the Ottoman’s Sultan’s threats!

THE TSAR’S POPULARITY IN EUROPE IS ON THE RISE AND WHO IS TO BLAME?

A story from the Tsar’s media puppet, Sputnik news, speaking to the comments of an Italian writer on how Europe is growing fonder of the Russian leader, should not surprise anyone. But, is it true? Is there any indication the Tsar’s popularity in Europe is growing? Actually, let me rephrase that question. Is the Tsar’s popularity in Europe better than the US’s?  Yes. Is that true universally in Europe? Nothing is universal in this world. The fact of the matter is, the Tsar popularity in Europe may very well be about to eclipse Europe’s opinion of US leadership. Just imagine where this conversation may be heading if Donald Trump wins the US Presidential Election? The Tsar may end up being the only leader in Europe that will talk to Trump!
So, let’s accept the fact the Tsar’s popularity is on the rise in Europe and let’s ask ourselves why?
A few months ago, I addressed the issue of weak, progressive leadership in Europe being blamed for the crisis of the human wave that descended upon the Continent. While all these compassionate European leaders where reaching out to waves of people they had no idea who they were or even where they came from, the Tsar was keeping the doors to Russia closed! Was he a villain for doing so? Give him a call and see if he regrets his actions! Putin’s popularity grows for one reason in Europe and it will continue to grow. He represents an attitude of “my people first”! Those in Europe who have a perception of the entire continent becoming unstable for the most part blame the massive waves of people simply walking into their countries. Are these Europeans selfish, heartless or even cruel? That is a matter of perception, but I will tell you the perception battle in Europe is being won by those who feel things are out of control.
In 2017, a series of elections will be held in Europe and I predict that at the end of the day, the liberal governments of Europe will be hard pressed to maintain power. Those who were once labeled “Radical Right” are taking on the perception of concerned citizens.
The swing to the right in Europe is undeniable. How far this swing continues is based upon the world’s ability to stabilize the Middle East and parts of Africa and both of those goals are going to be more and more  difficult to achieve, especially from Progressive, Liberal governments in Europe.
For now, Europe has one leader who gives the people of Europe the perception of placing his citizens first. Yep. You know who that is.
Why is Putin’s popularity growing in Europe? Is it because, as the West / US / says, he has a great propaganda media machine?
Why is it, when governance fails to meet the expectations of the people they are sworn to serve, it’s never their own fault?
The West / US / progressive attitude towards world problems has kicked the can so far down the street that the world has run out of street!
Putin’s media machine is not exclusively responsible for his growing popularity in Europe.
If his growing popularity worries European / US / leaders, they need only look in the mirror for most of the answer as to why it is happening.
The rise of Nationalism in Europe?
Is it going to be seen as a danger to the nations of Europe?
Is it going to be seen as being more dangerous that what is taking place now?
Is that the next movement?
Europe has a long history of repeating mistakes.
They are well on their way!

THE OTTOMANS, ARABS, PERSIANS AND THE RUSSIANS AND THE NEXT US PRESIDENT. WHO IS READY FOR THIS ISSUE?

Since the very beginning of the Arab Spring/ Tunisian Virus / I have commented on the changing vision of the Ottomans and their self-proclaimed Sultan…Egodan! (Yep. I still call him that, given I will never travel to Turkey).
As the US citizens hear of yet another twist in the pathetic Presidential election events, it is a fact that whatever the FBI comes up, and I’m betting it’s something bad for Hillary, the changing environment of the Middle East continues to become more and more dangerous.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, something some readers may not even understand, it’s important to realize the tensions that are building in the Middle East.
Here is a quick cheat sheet version:
The Turks are not going to allow the Kurds, under any banner to negotiate land for support in Iraq or Syria.
The Iraqi government cannot allow the Shia Militias to control the retaken territory, even when Iraq is incapable of providing any level of organized government.
The Russians cannot afford to have the Daesh Terrorist to move back into Syria from Iraq.
The Iranian Government cannot allow Turks to openly defy the Iraqi government by executing military operations on Iraqi land.
The region is a mess and a dangerous mess at that.
Here is the most frightening fact in all madness that is called the Middle East.  Nobody seems to truly be on anyone’s side. Deals are struck without a lick of sincerity.
The Russians don’t care about Assad. It’s about leverage against the West and the Chess game called Eastern Europe.
The Ottomans don’t care about Western perception of their actions, even though they are still, for now, a key member of NATO; an organization the Russians would love to neutralize.
The Rebels fighting the Syrian government can see only one issue; Sunni vs Shia.
The region is a mixture of Superpower tension fused with a very dangerous, ageless sectarian conflict.
Does ether US Candidate have a “plan” for the region?
Even if they do, does the US still have the ability to influence events in the region or is the West just along for the ride?
How many jobs will the next President create?
What will be the future of the US economy?
What will be the makeup of the US Supreme Court in the next five years?
These all sound like very serious issues, but in the end, are they the ones that will determine the future of the US and its status in the world?
Can the US do anything other than watch what happens next in the region?
Is the future of peace in the region not to be decided or even influenced by the US?
Times are changing and the idea of the US once again becoming a bystander in major world affairs may not be too far off.
In January, a new mindset will take hold in the White House.
What will the next administration concentrate on and what will it simply sit back and watch?

The Ottomans, the Persians, the Arabs and the Russians. These are the players on the field. The West / US is quickly being relegated to the sidelines.

TRUMP CLAIMS “WWIII” IN THE MIDDLE EAST IF HILLARY ELECTED. HOW FAR OFF IS HE?

Well, it’s a commonly known fact that Donald Trump has a talent for saying outlandish things, so making a bold statement about World War Three is not that surprising.  So, if that statement didn’t shock you enough, here is one that might make you tilt your head! Is he really that far off the truth? Could Hillary’s nomination set the wheels in motion for a conflict between what everyone use to call, “Superpowers”?
Yes! The answer is yes, but the answer is “yes” for any US President in any past, present or future election and the same holds true for any head of state who comes to power in Russia, China, India, France, England, Pakistan….you get my drift!  Any leader who assumes power in a nation with nuclear weapons can set the world up for disaster, so technically, Trump was correct! Now, that is not the point he was trying to make, so let’s take a look at what he was really alluding to.
Is there real friction between Putin and Clinton? Yes.
Is it serious, more serious than normal personality conflicts? Yes.
Does that mean a President Clinton would deliberately engage in a conflict with Russia over Syria? Now, that is a good question!
To better understand how this personality conflict could lead to an actual confrontation, let’s take a look at what makes both of these world leader’s tick.
A down and dirty look at Hillary Clinton: (My opinion)
A women who has been driven by her passion to be someone important from an early age.
A women who has endured a marriage to a man who has forced her to stand in his shadow from day one. Look, Bill had the charisma and Hillary never did and never will!
A women who grew to despise the very kind of man she was married to… an Alpha Male that looked at Women as inanimate objects for the sense of his pleasure. Men who reeked of self-confidence and could constantly put anyone on the defensive with just a few well placed, sharp words.   Bill had what she longed for, public trust, but yet, she was the one that gave Bill the opportunity to become President of the US.
Simply put, it’s her turn now and nobody is going to get in her way, especially an Alpha Male. She has endured too much to get to the end of this quest, a quest snatched  from underneath her when her own party turned on her in 2008 and nominated Obama; another Man should couldn’t stand.
A man hatter? Maybe not totally, but her dislike for strong confident men is not hard to spot.
Last but not least, a women who framed Putin as a “Bully” that must be handled firmly.
A down and dirty look at Putin: (My opinion)
A man who is driven by past. A past that saw the nation he served virtually dissolve overnight when he was working for the KGB stationed in Germany. Rumor has it, he feared he couldn’t even get his Wife back home the collapse happened so suddenly.
A man who felt like the West was responsible for destroying the country he had worked his whole life to secure.
An Alpha Male who’s quiet demeanor allows him never to overreact. (Hint… an Alpha Male).
A man who has set a vision for not only his future but the future of his beloved Mother Russia and is not willing to let anyone or anything alter that future.
A man who has survived in the Russian political climate by being paranoid.
A man who see a conspiracy behind every tree!
Last, but most certainly not least, a man who has absolutely no respect for Hillary Clinton and is convinced she has had a plan to limit or even destroy his vision.
Can these two personalities with all their flaws, lead to a confrontation?
As I have said before,  in the history of “civilized man, countless conflicts have their history based upon personality conflicts and unintended consequences.
These two people really don’t like each other and both have personality issues that make them more very likely to overreact at the spur of the moment.
In the end, a Clinton, Putin struggle is a very dangerous issue.
Could it lead to WWIII?
She is not the only person that gets to make that decision.
The beginning of each conflict has at least two sides.
“I am Women… hear me roar” vs “ Do not interfere with my plans”.

Now, that is dangerous!

PRESIDENT OBAMA’S LEGACY  IN THE MIDDLE EAST….MOSUL?

I’ve attached a rather hard hitting sort article that is very representative of the perceptions of the US in Saudi and the much of the Middle East.  If the author’s intent is to show a selfish image of the US President, an image of “I need to end my time in office with a victory against ISIS”, well, this young man really doesn’t understand US politics. It’s always about the “me factor”! Legacy and the items that make up the total picture that is a trademark of political leadership.  So, Yes. That could very well be what the battle for Mosul is all about, from President’s Obama’s viewpoint.
The author’s second point is the topic that should worry US citizens more than just another “legacy” event, with the exception that this particular “legacy” event has US military member’s lives at risk!  Yes, the US President is conducting US policy in a selfish mindset. The author needs to remember, this is the President that worked hard to kill of American Exceptionalism and in doing so,  walked away from being the leader of the free world! It shouldn’t come as a surprise the US President is acting is a selfish fashion.  Now, back to his second point!
Is the support of the US in the battle for Mosul part of a plan to support the Democratic nominee for President? Well, it’s not too difficult to make that argument. A victory, however hollow it would be, against a tangible item, such as a city, in the conflict with the Daesh, from the same administration that Hillary Clinton served under would be spun into a great achievement. Well, that’s if President Obama was willing to share the accolades.
If someone wants to make the events of Mosul a discussion point in the US election and I don’t think they do, then here is the fundamental question that should be addressed.
Will the recapture of Mosul truly make a difference to the people of the US and if so, please explain how?
I would love to hear the talking heads in DC spin that question, but then again, the American people have to care enough to even ask.
If Mosul is retaken before January, will President Obama take a victory lap? How would that help Hillary Clinton in the next two weeks? I can tell you this, Mosul will not fall in the next two weeks! The slice of success the Hillary camp may be looking for is associating with the administration that started the support for the recapture of Mosul.
Next set of questions:
If she is elected and the battle for Mosul is not over by January, will she continue the support?
Will she knowingly continue a process that will result in pushing the Daesh fighters back into Syria where the Russians will have to deal with them?
Is she willing to deal with the response the Tsar will have to such an event as you can be assured, there will be a reaction to such a plan?
Will the Daesh simply take a loss of Mosul as the final phase of their demise, a theory the pro Obama media in the US continues to try to sell to the US public?
In the end, the original question is the most important.
If Mosul is retaken, how will it benefit the US?
The sad news is the Candidate that is hoping to leverage US involvement in the battle of Mosul knows full well the American people don’t understand and really don’t care.
Sad, but true.
As for the author of this article, sorry my friend, the US has lost the leading part in the battle for world freedom and that is just the way the US President wants it.

FIRST 100 DAYS. LET'S LOOK AT THIS TOPIC ONE MORE TIME:

It’s always entertaining to me when I hear US Presidential Candidates expounding on what their “first hundred days” in office are going to look like. It doesn’t matter what political party the candidate is from, the stance is always the same. “I’m going to really shake things up”. My Administration will do this…or that… and so on and so on! Like most, I’ve never put much stock in anything these folks say. The words over the entry doors of the United States Army’s Sergeant Major Academy at Biggs Army Airfield in El Paso Texas are alien to both US political parties. “Deeds before words”! Hollow promises are just part of the political process and it’s depressing to realize that just about every modern society has come to expect that fact. Not only is it depressing, it is becoming dangerous!
The First One hundred Days:
The concept of The First One Hundred Days has another fatal flaw. Regardless of the “Visions” political leaders have, the rest of the world gets a vote! What does that mean? Who votes? Well, let me explain. Does anyone believe that any nation that is close to changing leadership is not analyzed for possible impacts on other nations?  Why Is Europe’s hair on fire over the possibility of Donald Trump winning the election in the US? What are they “anticipating”? Most of them have gone to great lengths to express their disapproval of Donald Trump and have done so based on some analytical review of his possible actions in the US White House. As another example, take a look at the visual word of the ex-President / Drug Dealer / from Mexico…Mr. Fox! Yes... I said Drug Dealer…trust me on that one! So, my point is this. As much as Donald Trump and or Hillary Clinton may make glamorous statements about what will take place once they are in the White House, what both of them cannot predict is the actions taken by those who oppose the US. Like I said, others get a vote!
What is the Tsar’s plan for “The First Hundred Days” of President Trump?
What is the Tsar’s plan for “The First Hundred Days” of President Clinton?
What are the plans of the Chinese, Iran, and Turkey? Yep, I tossed our NATO partner in there. If you don’t understand why, then you need to work on your world awareness.
Will a President Trump or a President Clinton have time to think about all the promises they made; as if they intended on keeping them anyway!
The elections in the US are in two weeks. The change of leadership doesn’t take place until January 2017.
Will those who don’t like the US wait to make “The First Hundred Days” manageable?
Who is most likely to challenge the new President, something that takes place from time to time?
If you are in the US and you are still listening to the visions of ether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, I would suggest you wonder about what will take place in those first hundred days, or for that matter the next four years?
It’s easy to make pie in the sky promises when you realize the public doesn’t believe you to begin with. It becomes catastrophic when a new President is unprepared for the challenges place in front of them, even before they place their hand on the Bible? Just look back to 2009 if you need an example.

CYBER ATTACKS . "STRONGER TOGETHER", UNLESS YOU ARE AGAINST HER!

WikiLeaks and soon to be President of the US, Hillary Clinton, if you listen to the mainstream media in the US, are starting off on a very bad note. Clinton supporters may not believe it, but the rest of the world equates the banning of Julian Assange by Ecuador’s government as a direct result of his attacks on Hillary’s campaign.
Would the government of the greatest nation in the free world exert such influence on another nation for the sake of one party’s political campaign? Well, in the past eight years in the US, anything is possible.
The speed of the US Department of State’s denial, clever use of words in this post, for responsibility of Assange’s blocked internet access was more than suspicious.
Think about the gravity of this accusation. The “Fix” is in so hard by the seated US administration for Hillary Clinton to become the next President that the Department of State demands an individual’s rights to internet access must be denied? Is that not just a little be Orwellian?
So, here comes the other side of this story. Today, the US and parts of Europe suffered a Denial attack on multiple internet access sites. The US press went with the story all the way up to someone mentioning it might be a retaliation for the actions taken by the US on Assange. Good grief, even one of the primary Clinton campaign media support groups, NBC, ran the story for at least a few hours.
Is this it? Is this how the next President of the US is going to react to people exposing issues about her?
“Stronger together”….unless you are against her and then you better watch out!
Oh, by the way. Did anyone notice how fast the US once again tied this whole issue to the Russians? All of a sudden, whenever the Progressive Liberals in the US have something not go their way, “It’s the Russians fault”!
When I was a kid, living in Florida in the early 60s, every time a Hurricane came close to us, my Mother would say, “It’s that Communist Weather Machine the Russians have”!
I wonder how long before Global Warming is a Russian event?
Well. I better stop there before my internet access turns off!

THE BATTLE FOR MOSUL. IS THERE SOMETHING THEY ARE NOT TELLING US?

I can remember back when journalism in the US was still a profession and a somewhat honorable one at that. Even back then, the question would of unadulterated reporting would come up.  In the Viet Nam conflict, never a declared War, as if that has mattered for some time now, the question of government influence on journalistic coverage was almost a daily topic. Have time really changed?
It seems odd the US is “involved” in “supporting” the battle for Mosul, but the topic doesn’t seem to make the news. Yes the US is weeks away from a Presidential election, one that will have no real victor, at least from the perspective of the American people, but, just how is the “support / Alliance” doing?
For the past 24 hrs. or so, the rumors of the Iraqi advance stalling has grown in coverage, but, not from the US media. Why? If the US has its military members in harm’s way, and they do, then where is the update? “The most transparent Administration ever”!
So, here is the rumor and in my book, it’s one that has real legs.
Kurdish fighting forces are poised to move on the city and that is something the Turks are more than upset with. Not to mention the Turks are not being invited to the table by the Iraqi government. Remember, the Ottomans’ goal is to suppress the Kurds, not destroy the Islamic State fighters.  Not to mention the Kurds are now asking for the Turkmen fighters to be categorized as “Terrorist”! You know, now days, if you don’t get along with some group, you just call them “Terrorist” and that levels out the playing field.
The newer version of the Mosul conflict seems to stim from the US and the Iraqi government not agreeing on the status of two issues.
1.      The US doesn’t want the ISIS fighters to be able to retrograde into Syria; as if they have not already done so prior to the start of the Mosul operation. That’s what happens when you telegraph what you are going to do for months in advance. Side note. Did the Tsar “telegraph” his movement into Syria? Remember my analysis…. Checkers vs Chess. So, the US wants the Iraqi fighters, to include the Shia militias controlled by Iran, to cut off the escape routs into Syria. Rumor has it that has become a major bargaining chip between Iraq and the US.
2.      It seems the fear that everyone who understands the region was worried about it coming true. The Shia militias along with the Iraqi forces, forces trained by the West / US / but under the control of Iran, are going to exert pain upon the Sunni population of Mosul. What is the end result of this? Yep. Yet another mass refugee issue. An event that was so predictable, the UN even prepared for it to take place.
Is this all an indication of just how bad the Mosul operation is going? Yep.
Can it get worse? Oh ya. Way worse!
If ISIS “Terrorist” are allowed to exit Mosul, and that is if they start to lose, and fall back into Syria, how does the West / US / believe the Russians will not see that as a deliberate act? How does anyone awake in DC not understand that the Mosul supported event is nothing more than the US pushing the ISIS issue off on the Syrian government? Does anyone in DC not think that is the perception of the Tsar? Worse yet, did the US actually anticipate this consequence?
Weeks away from a Presidential election in the US and somehow key leadership is under the impression that detreating the relationship with the Russian is a step forward?
Now, let’s think for a minute. Who is the key fighting group that will actually enter the streets of Mosul?
The Kurds? Not unless you want to see the Turks respond.
The Iraqi “Special Forces… Counter Terrorist… what every else they call themselves? They look good standing there with their Western uniforms on. Some have actually leaned how to properly wear a helmet. Are
Are These the forces that will go door to door in Mosul? On Iraqi TV that might be staged, but some of us know who the real killers are.
Yes. The Shia Militias. The ones that actually do kill women and Children just as barbarically as the ISIS Terrorist do.  These are the units that will enter the city with Iraq’s blessing. They will be under the command of Iran and that is why Soleimani is there.
Are the Russians going to allow the Iranians to push ISIS into Syria and take credit for saving Mosul?
Is the Tsar willing to trade Mosul for more problems in Syria?
Is he going to talk to the Ottomans again?
What version of the battle for Mosul is the US press willing to dig into?
Does the US Press even understand what is taking place or might that jeprodize their Presidential Candidate?
Professional journalism! A thing of the past!
Are you confused?
DC is!

DR. MIRELES AND YET ANOTHER “RUMOR”!

For those that know me, you are not surprised that I am once again addressing the latest “rumor” on the status of the good Doctor. For those of you that don’t know me, I will simply state I’ve been following this person and the events surrounding him in Mexico for the past several years.
Short version of that comment:
Dr. Mireles is the person most of Mexico’s government fears the most. It’s not just the good Doctor’s actions, but the movement that Mireles expounded upon in Mexico that worries the Mexican government. Simply put, he is the flame that could launch social revolution in Mexico and they know it.
So, yet another “Rumor” of his pending release? I would say this is ether the sixth of seventh time that story has hit the internet since he was tossed in prison over three years ago and that was after the Mexican government tried to kill him.
I’ve stated this before, but given this “rumor” is out there again, I will repeat myself at least one more time.
Can the Mexican government afford to turn Dr. Mireles lose? Has his ability to influence the working class population of Mexico passed? Is the danger zone he possess to the government past? How do they know?
What is the advantage of turning setting him free?
Have most of his followers grown accustom to not having him in the struggle?
Is it safe to set him free?
Has the threat of the fire he threaten to ignite in Mexico expired?
If I see him actually freed, it will be far more interesting what takes place after that.
If that happens, you can bet I will spend a great deal more time addressing who he is and what his movement could mean to the stability of Mexico.
My bet is, he is not getting out, but if he does, it will be important to track the good Doctor.

THE BATTLES FOR ALEPPO AND MOSUL: MONGO'S PERSPECTIVE

For several months now, the outrage over the air strikes on Aleppo have been sticking close to the front page of the news. The UN has been approached to address the issue Aleppo, a worthless event that amounted to little more than political theatrics given the veto power of Russia. Air strikes that were “war crimes” at worst or at best ‘unacceptable”, that has been the topic when it comes to the conflict for the city of Aleppo.

Aleppo:
Is Aleppo key to the Syrian government regaining control of Syria? Yes.
Are those who are bombing Aleppo in a declared “Alliance”? Yes.
Are the attackers deliberately targeting innocent civilians? Well, that depends on your stance on the Syrian conflict.
Is there total confusion as to who is fighting for what reason in the battle for Aleppo? Yes.
Does each of the parties in the attacking “alliance” have their own agenda?  Yes.
Is the West supporting the attacking “alliance”? No.

Mosul:
Is Mosul key to the Iraqi government regaining control of Iraq? Yes.
Are those who are attacking Mosul in a declared “Alliance”? Yes.
Are the attackers targeting innocent civilians? Well, that depends on your stance on the Iraqi conflict.
Is there total confusion as to who is fighting for what reason in the battle for Mosul? Yes.
Does each of the parties in the “alliance” have their own agenda? Yes.
Is the West supporting the attacking “alliance”? Yes.

What is the difference?

Why is the West outraged at the actions in Aleppo and quietly supporting the actions in Mosul?
If your answer is, “we are attempting to help the Iraqi government defeat the Terrorist who occupy Mosul” then just switch the side you are on and you have the answer for Aleppo.
What moral high ground do you take over Aleppo and then place your hand over your eyes in Mosul?
To the five year old child in Mosul or Aleppo, why someone is killing your family is not important. Just getting them to stop is all that matters.
Strange how justification is a relative term.
In Mosul, the fear of Shia militias, supported and controlled by Iran, victimizing Sunni civilians has some of the so called “allies” quietly at odds with each other, not to mention the Turks  demands on the event given the support being provided by the Kurdish fighters.
Read an article today that equated the battle for Mosul to a modern day Tower of Babel.  Frankly, the whole region has become the Tower of Babel!
So, somehow, tonight in DC, the stance seems to be this. “Aleppo bad…..Mosul good”!
Sound childish?
The idiot Mongo from Blazing Saddles. I’m not so sure he couldn’t win in three weeks!

Oh, by the way. If you are one of those “talking Heads” or so called “experts” on the region and you try and reply with some comical explanation as to why Aleppo and Mosul are “different”, then you should audition for the remake of Blazing Saddles!

SOLEIMANI AND THE WEST. A CASE STUDY IN “LET’S HOPE THE PUBLIC DOESN’T REMEMBER”!

Over the past few years, I have addressed this person on several occasions. If you don’t know who he is, I suggest you ready up or my comments are not going to make much sense to you. If you don’t care about what he has done, then you’ve not lost someone in Iraq since 2003. If you know who he is and still supports what the US administration is doing with Iran, then you need to stop reading this because you are not capable of rational thought!
Refresher:
Who is Soleimani? He is an Iranian General who is directly responsible for hundreds of US service member’s deaths in Iraq! I’m not going to try to impress you like some of the “experts” by giving you his background. Frankly, if you don’t know his background, that’s ok. All you need to know is many US lives were lost because of this man.
Side Note: I know more about this man than just about any talking head / expert / out there, with the exception of intelligence members who have been assigned to become SME’s on his daily life.
Why is this story so upsetting to me? Simple. The West / US / has dirtied its hands with Iran to the point that living with the actions of this man seems to be more important than losing a worthless nuclear weapons program. How could the US even hope to allow this man to be involved with any actions the Us may be supporting in Iraq? Again, simple. The US has turned its back on this man’s actions for several years now. Again, the weapon’s program hallucination in DC is more important than risking someone finding out the US is dealing / tolerating / the   actions of Soleimani.
This man should have died in a drone strike years ago! Several attempts have been made on him, but not with the involvement of the West; at least I would bet they were not involved.
When I first started reading some of the conceptual plans that were slow leaked on how the operation to retake Mosul might take place, it was obvious the glaring questions were going to be ignored by the Western media. “ How can Tukey support an event the Kurds were going to support? How was the West / US / going to support an operation that was going to have a blatant Shia vs Sunni nexus to it? How would the West / US / sell their actions to Saudi”?  The score card of who is on whose team was a comedy all by itself. Military leadership in the US has been shaking its head as DC and the US Department of State hold hands with the Iranians and the Persian puppet government in Iraq.
The most difficult part of preparing a “plan” to retake Mosul was based on two highly complicated issues.
1.      Finding out how to get the players to get along long enough to have an actual coordinated game plan.
2.      Training an inept fighting force to be able to take on dedicated killers who have had over two years to fortify their positions in Mosul.
Both of these issues have almost doomed this so called Campaign from the beginning!
In the middle of all of this, the Iranians, who have had control in Syria taken away from them by the Russians , are desperate to keep control of Iraq. Deals made with the Kurds, the only real fighters taking part in the Mosul event, can only infuriated the Turks.
What outcome in Mosul does Egodan envision for Turkey? No Kurdish enclaves can be any slice of the outcome, regardless of what deals the Iranians have struck.
So the picture is this. The coalition of forces for the Mosul attack is anything but “united”.  In the middle of that statement is the issue of General Soleimani. Did the Iraqi government ask for his help?  Given how important Iraq is to Iran, does anyone really think the Iranians would care if they were asked or not?
Why? Why is Soleimani being called for? The Iranians know all too well the feelings the West / US / military has for him. They know the Obama administration is more concerned with the legacy of a nuclear arms deal than having to work with a killer of US forces.
Iraq is more than important to Iran. Iraq is nearly everything to Iran. All of their regional plans go up in smoke if they are not seen as the controllers of Iraq.
Soleimani is probably the only person who could take over the Iranian government in a coup and not have the Iranian people revolt. By the way, that rumor was out there a few years ago. What the coup planners underestimated was Soleimani’ s loyalty to Iranian senior leader!
In the end, here is the part that makes me angrier than words can describe. How is it the Obama administration can hope to work around this man without public outcry? The sad truth is, most of the US public has no idea who he is and what he has done to their Sons and Daughters! As is always the case, ignorance is counted on.
I can tell you one group that is not ignorant to Soleimani. The United States Military.
They will not work with him or his people and if ordered to do so, that relationship will be designed to fail.
Soleimani may be called upon to take pictures standing next to Iraqi fighters. He may be positioned to point at a map and look “Commanding”, but, if he was to die a “martyr” in the battle for Mosul, the fog of way may be a great excuse.
There is a special corner in Hell for this man and I hope someone sends him there soon!
In Shala!

RUMORS OF US ACTIONS AGAINST SYRIA / RUSSIA.

In the past two days. Two stories caught my attention.
One: the US is considering military action, again, in Syria and the conflict in DC on who supports the idea and who does not.
Two: The US is considering retaliating against Russian cyber hacks with its own cyber-attack.
As dramatic as these two stories should have been, it only took a day for the Trump / Hillary story to overtake the media in the US. I am somewhat surprised it took that long.
It’s not often that I take a positive position with the current US administration, but if passive liberalism won the day with these two ideas, then I have to admit the right decisions were made, at least for now.
Just how reckless would either of these actions have been? It’s hard to even measure.
Was the Tsar anticipating ether of these actions? Yes.
Did he have a counter-move prepared? Absolutely, that is how he operates.
If the US would have stumbled into ether of these actions, the impact would have been at a level the US would not have been ready to deal with. You, see, as I have said in the past, the US is decent at rationalizing the first proactive move, but the follow on requirements are almost always lacking in US policy. It’s is truly one of the weakest points of US strategic policy development.
Could a cascading series of results have been the outcome? Yes.
Could they have forced the US and its allies into events they had not anticipated and therefore not have been prepared for? That answer is the more frightening than any one that may have been given.
The intent behind telegraphing one’s actions is perceived very differently in the rest of the world than it is in the West / US. Very few nations, especially the Russians, truly believes the US media is not fully in the camp of the Obama administration. Given that the Russians believe that, hearing of such pending actions could only be perceived as a “warning” to the Tsar. Actually, it doesn’t take a lot to convince me that may have been the case and that make the message even more dangerous.
When word of these two options hit Moscow, I have to imagine there were smiles inside the Tsar’s office.
What actions were, is he, prepared to take if either of these two events were to take place.  Those options were reviewed as soon as these two stories hit Moscow.
Here is the next dangerous fact of this story. I’m betting the Tsar and his team are convinced those actions may still take place! That’s the problem with using the media for sending messages. Walking back the threat to someone like the Tsar is never a good option.
If the US has decided not to take action in Syria and not to take cyber actions against Russia, then the results will be in the negative ether way. Yep. This is a lose, lose, but one version of this loss is far less dangerous than the other. I say that, but in the long run, even the passive loss will run the threat of further decay.
Why did these two stories fall off the radar so quickly? Two answers.
One: It hasn’t outside the US. It has not gone away in Syria, Russia, Iran or with the GCC.
Two: It could be not just that Trump / Clinton is the focus of the media in the US, but perhaps leadership realized these two stories need to end quickly. “LOOK…. A SQUIRREL”!!! Now, if the US was really trying to send a message to Moscow, I’m on and off on that concept, then the sudden de-escalation could have yet another unforeseen consequence. The factions fighting in DC on how to move the US’s involvement forward are now probably more at odds than ever before. One thing is for sure. It is not the fist time the world has witnessed the US’s “GO…DON”T GO…. WE REALLY MEAN IT THIS TIME… DON’T CROSS THE LINE”, stage act. Can Moscow really believe this level of incompetence? Does someone as paranoid as the Tsar truly believe DC is that incompetent? Well, a few years ago, the Tsar may have had a hard time believing it, but now, even he may have to watch DC and scratch his head!
Bets. Place your bet. If you hear of a “hack” on Russian systems and you see the US jump up and say they were not responsible, you may want to believe it. Could the Tsar mastermind such an event just to take his plan to the next step? It won’t surprise me at all.
As for US military actions on Syrian sites, that blunder would even surprise me and I have less confidence in the actions of DC than the Tsar does.   If the Tsar has mapped that event out, even I would be surprised. I say that then I look at the events that surround the UN aid convoy attack in Syria. All things are posable in this mismatched battle of ideas.
Two dangerous stories this week and most in the US may think they are both over.
My hunch is, they are only over if the Tsar wants them to be over.

What’s next? The midnight oil is still burning in Moscow!

HOUTHI’S RADAR SITES STRUCK….WAIT….WHAT… RADAR SITES?

The US military “retaliated” against the Houthi radar sites in Yemen after the Navy’s second missile attack against them in a week. Yes, I said that correctly. “Houthi Radar Sites”! Does that statement confuse you? It should. How in the world did the Houthi rebels acquire “Radar Sites”? Well, here is where the story gets interesting and if you are a supporter of the current US position on Iran, you may want to go read something else.
Yemen. A county that is below the level of “collapsed Nation State”. In fact, other than international recognition, I’m not sure Yemen is really even a country by definition. A slice of land that has been in conflict from the day it was invented. North vs South. Sunni vs Shia. One Clan vs another. Poor? Yemen makes “Poor” sound manageable. It’s a land of forgotten history. A place where herders serve as the local government and the rules / laws are based upon how many guns one has in their clan.
As hard as it may seem to believe, Yemen took a turn for the worse a little over two years ago. When the Persians decided to open another proxy hotspot with the Suni flagship, Saudi, Yemen came back on the scene. Now, Yemen had the West’s attention for several years before the Iranian proxy event given Yemen was a training and operational base for some of the most radical Sunni “Terrorist Groups” in the world. It was the perfect laboratory for groups looking to strike out at the “nonbelievers” of the world. Before that, Yemen was a cold war topic caught between the Soviets and the West. In the end, Yemen has been the tool of several movements with the Persian exploitation being the most recent.
Houthi:
Need to know who they are? Simple. They are the Shia side of the Sectarian conflict in Yemen and thus they are supported by Iran.
As I was reading some of today’s postings by the so called “experts” on the region, I once again had to shake my head at the core issue they all seemed fixated on. “Iran is supplying the Houthi groups with “sophisticated weapons”. Not sure how many years you had to spend reading books at Georgetown University or how many cocktail parties you had to attend with the US Department of State to come to that conclusion, but the point was off target just as much as the missiles that were fired at the US Navy. By the way, the UAE Navy was not as fortunate as the US Navy as you can see with the picture I’ve attached to this post.
Yes the weapons used by the Houthi groups are from Iran. Yes, Iran is openly supporting the conflict, now more than ever. Their exposure to being involved in Yemen has become very evident compared to the early phase of their proxy fight there. Here is the real question that is not being asked, at least not at a level that anyone in the West really cares to ask.
How is it that the West / US / can allow this to happen in Yemen? Iran. The county the US had such a resounding success with on the nuclear weapons issue? Iran, the country that still calls for the destruction of the “Great Satan” ….. you know…. The US!  How can it be that weapons of capable of interdicting shipping in a strategic location of the littoral  lanes near Africa, look at the map if you are confused,  can not only be shipped to Yemen, but allowed to be set up and become operational? Why would Iran support this when they are trying so hard to forge a new alliance with the Western world?
Iran is not trying to forge anything with the West. The current leadership in Iran hates the West now more than ever. Why? Because the Moderates in their country convinced their leadership that the nuclear arms deal would lead to free markets and access to world banking networks. It would lead to them not having to give up their nuclear weapons program, but it would allow them to mend their devastated economy. Well, as much as the US has tried to make that pledge happen, it’s not happening to the level the real leaders of Iran are happy with. They didn’t get it all their way and it didn’t happen as soon as they crossed their fingers and signed some laughable agreement on nuclear weapons development with the clueless UN watching over them.
The real leadership of Iran has placed far too much value on the sectarian conflict in the region and keeping the Southern border with Saudi in crisis is vital to their overall plan.
How easy it must have been for them to see the value in openly shipping arms to Yemen knowing all along the US had virtually destroyed its relationship with Saudi. Would the US dare intervene in Iran’s exploits with Yemen? No! How could they? It would mean they would have to admit they were wrong on the entire Iranian initiative and the Iranian leadership knew all too well the ego of the current US President would never allow that to happen.
What the US taxpayers experienced this week was a nation that the US President secretly released Billions of dollars to, remember that line about the most “transparent Administration in the history of the US”, providing a group of warlords the ability to attack the US Navy!  Does someone want to explain to me US Foreign Policy again? I’ve been working on that mystery for almost eight years now.
So, today, the US fired back! Tomahawks struck the radar sites in Yemen. Radar sites that shouldn’t even be there! I have to wonder what the conversation was in Riyadh when this report came in. Did we tell the Saudi’s we were going to strike the sites?
When these sites were hit, who was operating them? Now, there is a very important question and let me explain why.  Does anyone believe these radar, launch control sites were actually manned by Houthi fighters? Think about it. A group of unemployed misfits and Mercenaries from somewhere else in the region being trained to the level that they could track, lock on to and fire upon a US Naval ship, not to mention hit a UAE ship just days earlier. All of this accomplished with an upgraded weapons system that has a very limited training program. If someone died in the US’s counter-strike today, where were they from? Persians? Where they Persians? Do anyone think the US administration will ever admit this? You can bet they know. The Intelligence in Yemen is there. The Saudi’s ability to gather human intelligence in Yemen is more than enough to answer this question. But then again, did the Saudi’s share that information? Just how damaged is the US relationship with Saudi?
Once again, today’s actions fly below the tabloid radar in the US media. “Donald Trump grabbed someone’s butt”…… “Hillary lied to the FBI”.   The Gong Show version of the US Presidential elections is all anyone in the US is drooling over.
Oh, by the way, Iran Navy moved into the waters off the coast of Yemen today.
Where is this all heading?
Worse yet. Does anyone care?
The loved ones of those who were almost struck aboard the US Naval vessel do.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall of the Kremlin tonight.

RUSSIAN AND US RELATIONS. EVEN CNN FINALLY PICKED UP ON THE TENSION.

I was amazed today. Yep, amazed! For months now the US news outlet CNN has done nothing but battle to keep Trump from becoming popular. Daily headlines, all day long. “Trump said this…Trump did that…” It’s the panic of the liberal media. By the way, if you happened to tune into the US news outlet FOX, you had the reverse. “Hillary Clinton this and Hillary Clinton that…”!  Have I mentioned lately I don’t watch US based news programs? Gee, I wonder why?
Today, today was different. Today CNN news actually had a lead headline, at least for a few short hours that addressed an issue that is far more important to the American people than Trumps “locker-room talk” or Hillary’s health. If you missed it, you may not see it again until an actual confrontation takes place.
Yes. CNN actually addressed the growing tension between Russia and the US. Mindboggling. For a brief moment in time, real journalism was attempted! But for all the tabloid news fans, the good news is, the “Look what Trump said….did…” mantra was back center page by late this evening.
Some of us, more than you might think, have been watching this storm gathering just over the horizon for several years. Time and time again, I have addressed the actions of the Tsar and what his true goal in life really is; the reestablishment of the Russian Empire!  So how is it that CNN suddenly felt compelled to produce a story on this rising tension? To be honest, this is not the first time CNN or other US news outlets have addressed the Russian “Tension” issue, but it to have the story be center page of the online news for CNN, well, that was new.
I took the time to read the story and I must admit I was not surprised how off message the CNN article was. If someone were completely clueless as to all the events that had been taking place on the topic of Russia’s role in Europe and the rest of the world over the past ten years, then the CNN story slanted opinion would most likely give that someone a fix on the subject just long enough for allow them to go back to wondering what someone posted on Facebook about cat tricks in England…..you know…. Mindless fluff.
Was CNN perception of the Russian / US / tension simplistic in its explanation? Well, remember the level of followers they are addressing.
Was CNN slant so pro Obama Administration that a complex series of Western / US / blunders in foreign affairs was simply not addressed? Absolutely!
The story made center page for a few hours, but the context was nearly worthless.
Okay, let me get off my US news media bashing and expound upon a topic I’ve warned of for several years.
Is the West / US / heading for a confrontation with the Tsar?
That depends on what the Tsar has planned for.
Is that a scary answer?
It should be. It should be a very frightening answer.
Does the average person in the US truly believe open conflict between the US and Russia could happen?
I doubt the “average” person in the US has a clue what real conflict really entails!
Here is a question the US public has an even poorer understanding of.
Is there a conflict already taking place between the US and the Russians?
If you look at the list of issues the CNN story sites as accusations made by the Obama Administration, you should be able to figure out the answer to the question.
Here is a follow on to that important question.
Does the American public really care what is taking place between their government and the Russians, not to mention the Chinese?
How critical is it to the American voters what the future relationship might be between the two Candidates and the Tsar? CNN even touched on one important note. Putin has a real distain for Hillary Clinton. It’s personal and it’s not going to get better just because she shows up in the White House.
Are the American people ready for that?
Is Europe willing to suffer the continued passive aggressive attitude of the Tsar based on his animosity for the new American President?
Folks. I like Mikhail Gorbachev. He is a well-respected, worldly Statesmen. When someone of his caliber decides to speak in public. When someone of his stature is compelled to give a warning, well, the US better be listening.
What is taking place between the US and the Russians is not just based on the vision of Putin. The inept policies of the US is not the only reason the US and the Russian are where they are today. It’s a combination of events that has turned into a cascading chain of dangerous mistakes on all sides.
For several years, some of us have been called “Chicken Little” when it comes to the Tsar and the West.  If the American people do not have the tension with Russia on their minds when they walk into the booth to vote, then the next dangerous mistake will take place.
Can Donald Trump prevent the Tsar’s Master plan for Russia? No!
Can Donald Trump find a way to make the Tsar’s vision for Russia a vision that is beneficial for the West? Perhaps.
Can Hillary Clinton prevent the Tsar’s vision for Russia? No and he thinks, he truly believes she has already tried to do so. That my friends makes a President Clinton far more dangerous for the US than a President Trump.
The US and the Russians are not heading into calm waters. There will be no “last minute compromise”.
The war of words can turn into much worse.
Manpads in Syria and Russian Aircraft. If you want a ugly event, let that one happen. Who knows that it might be taking place right now? Who has the ability to stop it? If the US has lost it’s standing in the region, then a very….very…dangerous time is ahead.
Who will the Tsar blame?
Who is ready for his reaction?
The American people?
I think not!

HILLARY CLINTON’S EMAILS ON SAUDI FUNDS. WHAT THE MEDIA MISSED AGAIN!

So yet another group of hacked/ leaked/ emails from then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have surfaced? This time from a 2014 conversation, so that would make her not in an official, federal capacity and once again discussing information that I can guarantee you was classified at least at the level of TS / SCI.
So, she was corresponding with her campaign staff and members of the White House Staff on the issue of Saudi and Qatar financial support to the “Islamic State” and “others”.
So, how was this information obtained? At what level of classification did this information reside? Silly question to anyone who has ever worked in the world of classified information. But, for the sake of those readers who may not fully understand how this complex world of classifications works, let me give you a quick rundown. If I hold a classification level / clearance / and I am aware of events based upon classified data, then I cannot divulge that data in any environment other than the one that is cleared for the same level of information.
To make this point even more simplistic, if Hillary Clinton knew of Saudi and Qatar actions based upon classified data and she spoke of that information in an unclassified email, then that is a federal crime! It doesn’t matter if she is compassionate to the poor, understanding of the plight of the minorities, sympathetic to the life style of the Gay and Lesbian community and promises to champion the redistribution of wealth in the US to make life more “fare”.  None of that matters.
Here is the sadist and frankly the most terrifying point of this latest email event. A majority of the US population doesn’t seem to care! Even more frightening, Hillary Clinton knows it. She is banking on blind loyalty to cover her abuse of power. If she gives a speech about women, then she is forgiven for violating federal law, law that is based upon keeping the nation safe!
As for her current battle with Wiki Leaks, it’s not surprising at all that the new Clinton Camp tactic is to say the Emails are fake! Yes. That’s it, physical evidence is fake. Even more spectacular is the story that her Staff is now telling Wiki Leaks that they are in the Trump Camp and that the Russians are helping bring about these “fake” emails!
I sit here tonight remembering what I once her my Grandfather say when I was a kid in the 60s.  “This county is going down the tubes”! Well, it’s 2016 and the country is still here. But……But… what has happened to the US? What is the new level of expectation when it comes to US politics? Change is inevitable and all of us know that. Is the new level of political leadership based upon acceptance of abuse of power? How long can that last? How long can the US stay stable as the danger of continuous lowering standards and expectations continues?
By the way, if your answer to this story is, “she didn’t do anything the ‘rest’ of them don’t do”, then I would remind you that you can no longer use that excuse with children. “ Johnny. Why did you break that? Well. Tommy did it so why can’t I”?
By the way, the assumption I make here is that Saudi and Qatar did actually support some of the groups the West calls “Terrorist”. So, this statement may infuriate some of you.  If the Saudi’s and others funded groups they need to secure their own safety and future in the region and the West / US / knew about it, who is really guilty here?
Yep, it’s gotten that bad.
