A MAKE OR BREAK WEEK FOR ISRAEL AND THE MIDDLE EAST
The relative calm that came back to Egypt after this weekend had to have been based on the Muslim Brotherhood and the Egyptian Military getting a handle on the "outsiders" who instigated the events of Friday.
In the past 24hrs, it's has become clear what took place.
Not only is it clear to the West what took place, but it's very clear to the MB and the Egyptian Military.
Fanatical instigators will be the main target of the Egyptian Military and the MB over the course of the next several days in Egypt .
Israeli leadership has confidence this process will work better than it is in the Sinai region.
The battle lines are becoming clear.
The MB wants to "control" the event to show them as a powerful, yet negotiable partner in the process.
The MB wants to appear like Turkey and Iran wants to take the region to the edge of madness.
Both have the dream of the demise of Israel , but they have very different concepts of how to achieve this goal.
The goals of the MB do not include the wishes of Iran and the dreams of Iran do not include the future of the MB.
What will be the next violent act before the UN vote?
Good question, but there will be one or even several.
What will be interesting is seeing how the MB tries to keep Iran 's actions from taking center stage.
Oh ya... Turkey !!!
The Alliance between Turkey and Egypt will be fascinating to watch.
All the major players are in motion now and the political, strategic "battlefield" is going to get interesting to keep track of.
Good people may continue to protest in Israel and Egypt , but the " embedded" trouble makers will make sure the violence comes no matter what.
If the MB and Turkey are upset by the events of Friday, look for a little fire tossed on the issue of Syria this week.
Tit for Tat.
